Ek aur dhamakedar jeet, aur ek aur confident captain! IPL 2025 mein Monday night ko Punjab Kings (PBKS) ne Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) ko unke hi ghar mein karara jawab diya. Match hua Ekana Cricket Stadium mein, jahan PBKS ne LSG ko 8-wicket se hara diya – woh bhi full control ke saath.
Hero of the night? Prabhsimran Singh! Is young dynamo ne sirf 34 balls mein 69 runs thok diye – 9 chaukke aur 3 chakke ke saath. Uski explosive batting ne LSG ke bowlers ko early overs mein hi chaukanna kar diya. Target tha 172 ka, aur Prabhsimran ne opening se hi game Punjab ke favour mein shift kar diya.
Pitch thodi tricky thi – grip aur bounce inconsistent tha – lekin Punjab ne uska bhi perfect use kiya. Bowling attack bhi kisi se kam nahi tha. Arshdeep Singh</strong ne ek baar fir se apni consistency prove ki, powerplay ke andar hi LSG ke top order ko tod ke rakh diya.
LSG ke liye Nicholas Pooran (44 off 30) aur Ayush Badoni (41 off 33) ne thoda fight back kiya, lekin wo score board pe ek solid total nahi chadha paaye. End mein, unka 171 ka target easy lagne laga PBKS ke aggressive approach ke samne.
Match ke baad, captain Shreyas Iyer ne ek interesting baat boli – “To be honest, there’s no right combination… har match ek nayi opportunity hai, aur jab tak players dil se khelte hain, result apne aap aata hai.”
