Kieron Pollard Lifts Jasprit Bumrah in Joy as MI’s Star Pacer Makes a Strong Comeback Ahead of RCB Clash!

It was an emotional moment before the practice session began when Mumbai Indians’ batting coach, Kieron Pollard, couldn’t hold back his excitement. The giant MI star lifted a fit-again Jasprit Bumrah into the air, celebrating his return to the team. As Bumrah joined the squad ahead of their big match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, some MI fans couldn’t help but caution Pollard, advising him to be gentle with the pacer. But what’s the deal? Bumrah is finally back!

The Indian pacer, who has been sidelined since the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, has been officially declared fit. After completing his rehab at the BCCI Centre of Excellence, he made his comeback to MI on April 6. The excitement in the air was palpable as he continued his preparations with the squad ahead of the crucial RCB encounter.

Fans were buzzing about the return, some cheering, while others nervously advised Pollard to take it easy with the bowler who’s had a long recovery. But, looking at his performance during practice, Bumrah seems to be back to his best form. He was seen bowling with ease in the nets, a sight that has thrilled MI supporters everywhere.

In a press conference, MI Coach Mahela Jayawardene reassured fans that Bumrah was ready for the RCB match. He confirmed that the bowler had been through a series of training sessions at the NCA (National Cricket Academy) and was cleared to play. According to Jayawardene, Bumrah was fit and firing, with no concerns about his availability.

“He’s available, he’s training today, and should be available [for the RCB game]. He arrived last night. He had his sessions with NCA [now Centre of Excellence] to finalise that, he’s been handed over to our physios. He’s bowling today, so all good,” Jaywardene said during the pre-match press conference.

With an impressive record of 29 wickets in 19 matches at an average of 19.03 against RCB, Bumrah’s return could be a game-changer for MI. Fans are hoping he’ll continue his great form and lead the charge in this much-anticipated match.
