IPL 2025 ke beech, ek interesting baat saamne aayi hai – Zaheer Khan ka naam India ke head coach ke liye charcha mein hai! Filhaal woh Lucknow Super Giants ke mentor ke roop mein kaam kar rahe hain, lekin unhone khud admit kiya ki agar mauka mila toh woh Team India ko coach karna chahenge.
Zaheer Khan, jinki bowling ne 2011 World Cup jeet mein crucial role play kiya tha (21 wickets in 9 matches!), ab apna invaluable experience IPL teams ke saath share kar rahe hain. 2011 mein unhe Arjuna Award se bhi sammanit kiya gaya tha – which proves, he’s not just a legend on-field, but off-field too!
Kolkata mein ek recent event ke dauraan, jab unse poocha gaya ki kya woh future mein Team India ke head coach banna chahenge, toh unka jawab ekdam witty tha.
“Not by applying?” Zaheer ne muskurate hue poocha.
Lekin thodi der baad, unhone openly yeh maana ki yeh unke liye ek honour hoga agar unhe Team India ka head coach banne ka mauka mile.
“It would definitely be an honour,” unhone add kiya.
Unka coaching resume bhi kaafi impressive hai – Mumbai Indians ke liye unhone Director of Cricket aur Bowling Coach ke roles nibhaye, jahan unki mentorship ne Jasprit Bumrah jaise stars ko shape diya. Ab 2024 se woh LSG ke saath mentor ke roop mein jud gaye hain, jahan unka focus hai young talents ko groom karna.
IPL 2025 mein LSG abhi 6th position par hai – 2 jeet aur 2 haare ke baad. Team ne iss season kuch major changes dekhe hain, including Rishabh Pant as new captain. Lekin Zaheer ka presence dressing room mein ek stability aur cricketing intelligence le aata hai.
Dusri taraf, Team India filhaal Gautam Gambhir ke under ICC Champions Trophy jeet chuki hai. Lekin kya future mein baton baton mein coach banne ki ichha jatane wale Zaheer Khan ko dekhne ko milega? Only time will tell, lekin fans toh abhi se excited hain!
