Ambati Rayudu Gives a Fiery Reply to Trolls Who Mocked His MS Dhoni Tribute! 🔥

Ambati Rayudu, former CSK star, has fired back at the trolls who criticized his heartfelt tribute to MS Dhoni. Rayudu, who has always been an ardent fan of Dhoni, made some bold comments recently which led to backlash from certain quarters. The controversy started after CSK’s disappointing performance against Punjab Kings on April 8, when Dhoni’s heroic appearance at the crease didn’t quite turn the match around for the team.

While sharing the mic with former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu during the Hindi commentary, Rayudu compared MS Dhoni to a warrior wielding a sword. His enthusiastic comments, praising Dhoni’s fighting spirit, were quickly called “over-the-top” by some fans.

“I was a Thala’s fan. I am a Thala’s fan, and I will always be a Thala’s fan,” Rayudu wrote on X in defense of his words.

He didn’t stop there. Rayudu took aim at those trolling him, urging them to redirect their energy and money to a more meaningful cause.

“No matter what anyone thinks or does, it won’t make even one percent difference. So please, stop spending money on paid PR and donate that to charity. A lot of underprivileged people can benefit,” he added.

The controversy had escalated when Rayudu, during his commentary, said the following about MS Dhoni:

“Aisa lagra hai Talwar lekr are hain Dhoni, bilkul chalega talwar aaj Dhoni ka Talwar chalega.” (It looks like Dhoni is carrying a sword; the sword will definitely work. Today, Dhoni’s sword will work.)

This remark was met with criticism from Sidhu, who jokingly questioned whether Dhoni was there to play cricket or fight a war.

“Dhoni Cricket khelne aye hain Guru? Yudh ladne nahin?” (Is Dhoni here to play cricket, or to fight a war?) Sidhu wrote on his X account, sharing the clip of Rayudu’s comments.

Despite Dhoni’s explosive cameo of 27 runs off just 12 balls, hitting three sixes and a boundary, CSK fell short of the target, losing by 18 runs. However, Rayudu’s passionate defense of Dhoni continues to make headlines.

Looking ahead, CSK will face Kolkata Knight Riders at home on April 11, 2025, as they aim to bounce back from their recent loss.
