In a thrilling IPL 2025 match between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Gujarat Titans (GT), a controversial moment unfolded when RR’s star player, Riyan Parag, got into a heated argument with the on-field umpire after being dismissed. Riyan Parag had captained RR for the first three matches of the IPL 2025 season while regular skipper Sanju Samson was sidelined due to a finger injury. Parag has scored a total of 135 runs in five innings at a stunning strike-rate of 160.71.
As for the match itself, GT set a challenging total of 217/6 in their 20 overs, thanks to a brilliant 82 from Sai Sudharsan. RR, in response, was bowled out for 159 in 19.2 overs. Currently, RR sits at seventh in the points table, having won just two out of their five matches this season.
