Mumbai Indians ke naye star player Corbin Bosch ab spotlight mein hain, lekin is baar unke performance ke liye nahi — balki ek controversial decision ke chalte! South African all-rounder Bosch ne Pakistan Super League (PSL) ke season 10 mein Peshawar Zalmi ke saath sign kiya tha, lekin phir unhone unilaterally contract tod diya aur Indian Premier League (IPL) ki taraf shift ho gaye, jahan unhe Mumbai Indians ne Lizaad Williams ke replacement ke roop mein pick kiya.
PCB ne turant action lete hue Bosch par ek saal ka ban laga diya hai, jiska matlab yeh hai ki 2026 PSL edition mein wo bilkul bhi nazar nahi aayenge.
Babar Azam-led Peshawar Zalmi ne Bosch ko PSL ke diamond category mein pick kiya tha, lekin Bosch ne IPL ka mauka milte hi apna PSL contract cancel kar diya. PCB ke official statement mein bataya gaya ki Bosch ab next PSL edition ke liye ineligible hain.
“I deeply regret my decision to withdraw from the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) and offer my sincere apologies to the people of Pakistan, the fans of Peshawar Zalmi, and the wider cricket community.
The HBL PSL is a prestigious tournament, and I fully understand the disappointment caused by my actions. To the loyal fans of Peshawar Zalmi, I am truly sorry for letting you down.
I take full responsibility for my actions and accept the consequences, including the penalty fine and the one-year ban from the HBL PSL. This has been a hard lesson, but I am committed to learning from this experience and hope to return to the HBL PSL in the future with renewed dedication and the trust of the fans,”
Bosch ne 2025 December mein Pakistan ke khilaaf Johannesburg mein apna international debut kiya tha. Tab se unhone ek Test aur do ODIs kheli hain. IPL mein abhi unka debut hona baaki hai, kyunki Hardik Pandya-led Mumbai Indians abhi doosre combinations ke saath jaa rahe hain.
Yeh controversy ek baar phir dikhata hai ki international T20 leagues ke beech competition kitna intense ho chuka hai, aur players ke decisions sirf performance hi nahi, loyalty aur professionalism pe bhi sawal uthate hain.
