Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ka IPL 2025 mein performance fans ke liye kaafi disappointing raha hai. Ab tak team sirf ek hi match jeet paayi hai, aur baaki paanch matches mein unhe karari haar ka samna karna pada. Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad ke injury ke baad legendary leader MS Dhoni ne team ki command sambhali, lekin fortunes ab tak nahi badle.
CSK ne Kolkata Knight Riders ke khilaaf apna sabse lowest total register kiya aur match 8 wickets se haar gaye. Is bekar performance ke baad team ko kaafi criticism ka samna karna pad raha hai. Lekin head coach Stephen Fleming ne clear kar diya hai – Dhoni koi future predict karne wale baba nahi hai, na hi unke paas koi magic wand hai jo ek second mein team ka luck badal de.
“His [Dhoni’s] influence will be always prominent but he’s not a soothsayer, he hasn’t got a magic wand. He can’t just rub it over the side otherwise he would have brought it out earlier.”
“It’s a case of us working very hard along with MS to turn it around. In our careers, we’ve both faced tough phases. Yeh waqt bhi waise hi hai – energy ko sahi direction mein lagana hoga.”
Fleming ne accept kiya ki KKR ke khilaaf loss kaafi disappointing tha, aur unhone kaha ki pura team introspection kar raha hai. Ab objective yeh hai ki ek ek step leke improvement laayein – chahe wo batting ho, bowling ya fielding.
“We’ve got to look at it in small steps and work to get better in all three facets. The most disappointing part last game was the lack of competition. It hurt a lot.”
“There’s a lot of hurt that we can turn into motivation, but it’s not about words anymore. Ab players ko khud se groove wapas lana hoga, form dhoondhni hogi, aur apprehension ko hataana hoga.”
Ek aur badi dikkat hai CSK ke liye – unka powerplay performance. Is season mein CSK sabse kam score karne wali team rahi hai initial overs mein. Fleming ne bataya ki sirf sixes aur boundaries pe focus karna cricket ke essence ko chhota karta hai.
“We do [talk about the sixes], but it’s not everything. Six hitting ka craze samajh aata hai, lekin game sirf usi tak limited nahi hai. Mujhe bura lagega agar cricket ek baseball jaisa ban jaye.”
“Bat aur ball ke beech ka balance abhi bhi bacha hua hai. Har pitch road jaisi nahi hoti. Isi wajah se ab bhi craft aur smart innings kaafi valuable hain.”
LSG ke against bhi CSK ka record kuch khaas nahi raha. Total 5 matches mein sirf ek jeet, 3 haare aur ek match rain ke kaaran khatam nahi ho paya.
Ab dekhna yeh hoga ki kya CSK apne hurt ko actual motivation mein badal payegi ya yeh season unke liye ek aur nightmare ban jayega. Fans toh bas ek hi baat keh rahe hain – “Thala ka jaadu kab chalega?”
