Cricket sirf ek game nahi hai – emotions, unity aur humanity ka ek platform bhi hai. Aur jab kuch aisa heartbreaking hota hai jaise ki Pahalgam terrorist attack, to poora cricketing world ek saath aata hai.
April 22 ko Jammu & Kashmir ke Bairsaran, Pahalgam mein ek ghatak terrorist attack hua jisme kam se kam 28 innocent logon ki jaan chali gayi aur kai ghayal hue. In logon se unka mazhab poochha gaya before they were brutally shot. Is insaniyat se pare act ne sirf region ko nahi, balki poori country ko hila ke rakh diya.
India ke pace star Mohammed Siraj ne apna dard aur gussa express kiya ek emotional Instagram post ke zariye:
“Just read about the horrific and shocking terrorist attack in Pahalgam. To target and kill innocent civilians in the name of religion is pure evil… No cause, no belief, no ideology can ever justify such a monstrous act. Yeh kaisi ladai hai… jahaan insaan ki jaan ki koi keemat hi nahi… I can’t even begin to imagine the pain and trauma the families must be going through.. May the families find the strength to survive this unbearable grief. We are so sorry for your loss. I hope this madness ends soon and these terrorists are found and punished, without mercy.”

Cricket fraternity ka bhi jawaab aaya. BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia ne iss barbaric act ko condemn karte hue kaha:
“The cricketing community is deeply shocked and anguished by the tragic loss of innocent lives in the gruesome terror attack at Pahalgam yesterday. On behalf of the BCCI, while condemning this ghastly and cowardly act with strongest possible words, I extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayers for the departed souls. In sharing their pain and grief, we stand hand in hand at this hour of tragedy.”
IPL 2025 bhi is dard bhare waqt mein solidarity dikhata hai. SRH aur MI ke beech hone wale match mein, players aur umpires ne black armbands pehne aur ek-minute ka silence rakha. Is match mein koi fireworks, koi cheerleaders ya celebration nahi hua – sirf silence, respect aur ek strong message.
Yeh sirf cricket ka nahi, insaniyat ka waqt tha – jahan hum sab ek saath khade hue against terrorism, in support of peace. Mohammed Siraj jaise players ka aise waqt mein bolna, sirf game ka level nahi badhata – humanity ka bhi karta hai.
