Chennai Super Kings (CSK) ke head coach Stephen Fleming ne ek bold aur unexpected statement diya hai – CSK ab Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) ke pichhle saal ke comeback formula ko apnane wali hai IPL 2025 mein apni umeedein zinda rakhne ke liye.
8 matches ke baad CSK currently bottom par hai points table mein, aur playoffs ke liye qualify karne ka chance sirf tabhi hai jab wo apne remaining 6 matches jeet lein. Fleming ne press conference mein kaha:
“We’re still hopeful of winning 6 out of 6, and some will giggle at that, but RCB set a blueprint for that the year before…”
Unhone accept kiya ki situation tough hai, lekin impossible nahi. RCB ne pichhle season mein lagatar jeet kar playoffs mein jagah banayi thi – aur ironically, CSK ko harakar qualify bhi kiya tha. Is baar CSK wahi karne ki soch raha hai – ek complete turnaround!
Press conference ke dauraan MS Dhoni ke future planning waale comment par jab sawal pucha gaya, Fleming ne kaha:
“…one eye on making sure that we think the best players for this game coming up will play, but we’re also aware that if it doesn’t work out, that we’ve got to make the most of what has been a poor season.”
Fleming ne bataya ki agar comeback nahi bhi ho paya, toh yeh phase unki team building ke liye crucial rahega. Unhone yaad dilaya ki pehle bhi jab CSK ne tough phase face kiya tha, uske baad hi unhone next season mein trophy jeeti thi.
“The work we did a couple of times… set us up to win the title the following year.”
Unka kehna hai ki aane waale har match mein CSK full intensity ke saath khelega, aur koi bhi match “dead rubber” nahi hoga.
“There won’t be a wasted game or an opportunity… That creates opportunity and creates a bit of competition within.”
Currently, CSK ke paas 8 matches mein sirf 4 points hain aur unka net run rate -1.392 hai – jo sabse lowest hai is IPL season mein. Playoffs ki race mein woh Punjab Kings se 6 points peeche hain.
Lekin agar CSK apne saare bache hue matches jeet leta hai, aur doosri teams ke results bhi favour mein aate hain, toh unke paas ab bhi mathematical chance hai top 4 mein ghusne ka.

Toh ab CSK fans ke liye yeh dekhna interesting hoga ki kya Dhoni ke sher RCB ka jadoo replicate kar paayenge ya nahi. One thing’s for sure – yeh IPL aur bhi thrilling hone wala hai!
