Chennai Super Kings ka IPL 2025 ka campaign abhi tak expected standards tak nahi pahucha hai, aur ab Harbhajan Singh ne team ke selection pe bada sawaal uthaya hai. Unka kehna hai ki Rahul Tripathi, jinko CSK ne ₹3.40 crore mein kharida tha, unki form itni kharab hai ki unhe playing XI se hata dena chahiye.
Tripathi ne season ke pehle teen matches mein sirf 30 runs banaye hain. Unka highest score 23 tha Rajasthan Royals ke against, lekin us match mein bhi CSK ko har ka samna karna pada. Pehle do matches mein unhone sirf 2 aur 5 runs banaye – woh bhi opener ke roop mein!
Harbhajan ne kaha, “Rahul Tripathi crease pe zyada hilte hain, lekin runs nahi bante. Ruturaj Gaikwad jaise solid opener ko number 3 pe shift karna bhi unke liye kaam nahi kar raha.”
“Ruturaj Gaikwad, who is a proper opener, has sacrificed himself at number 3 for Tripathi. The opening pair has always been a big strength for Chennai Super Kings, be it Matthew Hayden, Dwayne Smith, Brendon McCullum, or even Devon Conway,” – Harbhajan Singh
Tripathi ki struggling form ne CSK ki strategy ko questionable bana diya hai. Harbhajan ka kehna hai ki team ka direction clear nahi hai, aur Devon Conway jaise experienced batter ko bahar rakhna ek badi galti hai.
“Conway is also in the team, but he is not getting the chance in the XI. They have been clueless so far while picking the XI. I don’t think Tripathi should get a place in the XI, but Conway definitely does.” – Harbhajan Singh
CSK ka agla match Delhi Capitals ke khilaf hai, 5 April</strong ko Chepauk Stadium mein. Dekhna hoga kya management Harbhajan ki baat maan kar playing XI mein badlav karta hai ya nahi.
