KKR comfortably chased down a low target of 104, finishing with 59 balls to spare. The Fight for the Orange Cap

The battle for the Orange Cap is set to intensify in the upcoming double-header Saturday. The first match will see Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) take on Gujarat Titans (GT), with Nicholas Pooran and Mitchell Marsh fighting for the top spot. Pooran, who currently holds the cap, is closely followed by Marsh, and both are in great form.

Meanwhile, Sai Sudharsan from GT is just 15 runs behind Pooran, and his performance can make a big difference in this intense race. Jos Buttler is another key contender, and he could rise up the standings if he delivers a big knock in Lucknow.

The second match of the day will feature Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), both of which don’t have a player in the top 10. However, Shreyas Iyer, Priyansh Arya from PBKS, and Heinrich Klaasen, Travis Head, and Aniket Verma from SRH are all in contention to make it to the top 10 run-scorers of IPL 2025. Can they make an impact and climb up the standings? Time will tell!
