IPL 2025 Orange Cap Standings are heating up! After Gujarat Titans’ (GT) dominating win over Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 58 runs, Sai Sudharsan has moved to second place in the battle for the prestigious Orange Cap. With his match-winning knock of 82 off 53 balls, Sudharsan now has 273 runs in just five games. Meanwhile, Nicholas Pooran from Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) continues to lead the pack with 288 runs from five matches, keeping his top spot intact.
Besides Sudharsan’s spectacular performance, another GT star, Jos Buttler, also made his mark with a solid 36 runs off 25 balls. Buttler’s performance has brought him to fourth place in the standings with a total of 202 runs in five outings. The race for the Orange Cap is getting intense!
For Rajasthan Royals, their captain Sanju Samson has been putting in consistent performances, scoring 178 runs in five matches, placing him seventh in the list. Samson is currently the only RR player in the top 10 of the Orange Cap standings.

The IPL 2025 Orange Cap battle is about to get even more thrilling with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) set to face off against Delhi Capitals (DC). RCB’s captain, Virat Kohli, who has already scored 164 runs in four innings, could very well leapfrog Suryakumar Yadav, who currently holds fifth place with 199 runs. Kohli needs just 35 more runs to surpass him.
Meanwhile, RCB’s Rajat Patidar, with 161 runs in four matches, is eyeing the fourth spot, and only 41 runs behind Buttler. The next few matches will decide whether he can edge out the English opener and make his move up the rankings.
